Advocates, photographers, organizers, racers, volunteers, do-gooders - these are the people that make up our community and we saw so many of them today at @ciclavia We know everyone is coming through for @ciclavia Meet the Hollywoods this Sunday July 19. We’ll be floating around all day getting portraits of members of the community and capturing all those smiling faces. Lots of climb rides around town recently. Goes to show we certainly have no shortage of options in that department 😮‍💨🗻⛰️🏔️ Collabs are the best. Still out of town and this time in beautiful Portland perfectly timed to enjoy some @pedalpaloozapdx activities while we are here. Though Bike Summer has tons of rides nearly every day, we were encouraged to check out the Emo Ride yesterday evening. And honestly, we didn’t know how much we needed to cruise through Portland while AFI was blasting 🎶🎸 Out of town this whole week so cant be at the @selaopenstreets event today. But still doing bike things. Your reminder that if you need some training on Thursday night, the folks at @gfunklb will get you into shape. What can you expect from a ride hosted by criterium racers? 😆 Our world has a lot of monsters. Some that seem unbeatable. But when your community has champions that step up, create spaces, take time, put in work - it kind of makes you feel like we can beat the monsters. It’s always bike day for us. But special occasions are still nice. Happy World Bicycle Day. So yeah…go ride your bike.🙌
